Greetings, everybody and welcome to our reconstituted 25-man raid.
When we start tracking DKP for ICC next week, we're going to return to using our old DKP system, which is based upon
EQDKP Plus.If you weren't raiding with us in Ulduar, I need you to do me a quick favor or two:
- Become a registered user of this site. I am personally approving all registrations because of a recent deluge of spam registrations, but I just upgraded the forum software and it came with a 3D Captcha that seems to have stemmed that tide. In any case, feel free to get word to me via a friend or an in-game mail that you registered here and I'll get you set up as a registered user pronto.
- Once your registration is approved, head on over to our DKP web page. This is a single-registration system (but not single login), so log in with the same exact username and password that you created on these forums. Hopefully for simplicity's sake it's your main toon's name, but that's not necessary.
Once you've done that I'll be able to link your user record to your toon name(s) and the DKP will flow.
Feel free to browse around the DKP pages. Don't worry if you see any "Tier 9" DKP numbers. I'm just playing with some dummy data to remind myself how the software works and to exercise the most up-to-date versions of the software.
You don't need to do anything special in game. If you want to get fancy. I use an addon called GetDKP to dynamically track DKP during a raid. If you feel like using it let me know and I'll be happy to help you set it up (before every raid and before you start WoW you would need to run a quick program from the web site that loads the current DKP totals into the addon).
